Their aim is to provide high quality home cooked food at affordable prices, plus as it’s all freshly cooked in house they can alter to tastes and cater for dietary requirements. Their menu changes every 3 to 4 weeks so even if you’ve been before you can try out some new dishes.
Milgi is an eclectic, artsy café, restaurant and bar in the Roath area of the city. The perfect place to immerse yourself in the culture and life of Cardiff, it is usually a hive of activity with gallery exhibitions and installations on show. They are now 100% vegetarian and offer a great range of vegan friendly dishes too, plus they aim to buy local and organic produce whenever possible, so you’re guaranteed some great wholesome locally sourced food and drink. Crumbs Kitchen is known for having one of the best salad bars in Cardiff. Mix & make your own great small or standard salad bowl or enjoy one of their vegetarian or vegan friendly soups, curries or chilli. You’ll find this little gem right in the heart of Cardiff City situated in the Morgan Arcade. It has recently been taken over by new management and now has a fresh new look.
Café Atma is a vegetarian and vegan café, yoga and pilates studio run by the Cardiff Hare Krishna Movement. You’ll find this little haven of calm on the busy Crwys Road in Roath. You can enjoy a selection of samosas, dahl curries, chapatti wraps, quiche, lasagne and lots of great desserts. Word has it their Banana Bread is amazing so I’d be checking that out if you can!
