The Cardiff Centenary Walk

Cardiff CastleCardiff's Centenary Walk is a great way to explore the city centre on foot, and find out more about how Cardiff became the city it is today.
The Centenary Walk takes in some of Cardiff's most celebrated and historic landmarks, as well as some well-kept secrets.
The whole walk is 3.6 km or 2.3 miles long, and indicated by numbered waymarkers in the pavement. You can join it anywhere along the route, taking in as much - or as little - as you fancy.
A free guide book and map to accompany the walk are available in English, Welsh, French or German from Cardiff Visitor Centre. You can contact us by phone or email and we'll send a copy to you.

Whether you've lived in Cardiff all your life, or are a welcome visitor, you're sure to find out something you never knew before.

Enjoy your walk!
