Renew Wales – Electric Vehicle Exhibition
16th September, 2017Free
Get in gear to find out more about the future of transport.
Renew Wales, funded by the Big Lottery, will be holding its first ever event dedicated to electric transport on Saturday, September 16th at Techniquest in Cardiff between 10am and 4pm.
This free event will showcase electric vehicles featuring Wessex Garages in particular the Nissan Leaf and Hyundai as well as community projects demonstrating the benefits of electric car sharing clubs.
In the Techniquest Science Theatre there will be talks from experts on the technology and community groups who have established social enterprises supporting the electric car movement.
At 11.30am there will be a Panel Discussion on the electric car movement and the targets of 2040.
Then at 2.30pm William Cull of Wessex Garage will be talking about EV ownership and the Nissan Leaf on how it fits into peoples’ lives, running costs/challenges and the ease of use.
The panel discussion will also include a talk from Electric Car enthusiast and convert Dr Neil Lewis who was a self-confessed “petrol head” until he made the switch and hasn’t looked back.
There will be Q&A sessions at the end of each talk to give people the opportunity to find out more and put their questions to the experts.
The day is all free so don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn more. There is no need to book for the exhibition or workshop, people can just turn up.
