Celebrating its 23rd birthday this summer, Cardiff Carnival transforms the city centre with a riot of flamboyant carnival art, colour and style!

Cardiff Carnival 2012 will include a day-long (10am to 4pm) street stage in The Hayes featuring the very best of carnival acts to delight you and your family with free street entertainment.

Wales' biggest and brightest Carnival guarantees fun for all the family. Expect thrilling high-energy street performances including samba drumming, funky street bands and hundreds of brilliantly colourful costumes and choreographed dancers.

Cardiff Carnival climaxes with the Finale Parade leaving City Hall at 4pm and stopping for an elaborate Street Jam in the High Street from 5pm to 5.15pm.
