Blues tackle Edinburgh in Heineken opener

The Blues start their Heineken Cup campaign against Edinburgh this Saturday, 9 October, 5.45pm kick off, in what promises to be an entertaining match. The teams last met in the opening round of the Magners League, when the Blues secured a bonus point win, running in four tries, while Edinburgh scored two.
This season’s Heineken Cup sees the Blues being drawn in Group 1 along with Edinburgh, French powerhouses Castres and Northampton Saints, who are second in the Aviva Premiership.
As part of the 2010/11 Cardiff Blues season ticket package, season ticket holders can purchase two additional tickets for any Heineken Cup match for only £10 each. The Cardiff Blues Bus for the Edinburgh game will pick up from Wood Street only, due to road closures. The buses will therefore start from Wood Street Stop JS (in front of Cardiff Central Train Station) at 4.10pm. The route has been chosen to enable supporters to visit the stadium as simply as possible. The shuttle bus goes every 10 minutes to and from the stadium. The shuttle bus service is free for season ticket holders and costs only £2.00 for non season ticket holders.
