Shoppers hot-foot it to Queens Arcade

Shoppers hot-foot it to Queens Arcade in order to try out the latest must-have beauty treatment – Fish Pedicure!

With Christmas just round the corner, weary shoppers now have another reason to ‘hot-foot’ it to Queens Arcade and ‘dip their toes’ in the latest beauty therapy to come to the UK.

Cardiff's first fish foot therapy spa is opening in Queens Arcade Shopping Centre on Saturday 13th November on the upper level near Argos.

Shoppers can submerge their feet into their own private pool of finned therapists for an Xotic Xfoliation by a team of tiny mouths.  These miniature pedicurists have no teeth and use a sucking motion to painlessly lift away dead skin without damaging the new healthy cells underneath.

Xfeet staff describe being left with a pleasant tingling sensation and smooth, revitalised feet after a therapy session.  One 15 minute treatment includes washing and cleaning of feet prior to treatment, with the exotic therapy only £15 per session.  Gift vouchers are available if customers are struggling with what to buy for Christmas!

Annette Gill of Xfeet said, “We are excited at the prospect of opening on Saturday 13th November.  We have already had a fantastic response from Queens Arcade shoppers who have been curious about the tanks we have brought in, what we will be doing and where the therapy comes from.

“A number of them have either tried it on holiday to Asia where it has been used for hundreds of years, or have seen it featured on television recently on GMTV, ‘The only way is Essex’ and ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’. We are delighted to be able to bring our fishy friends to Cardiff for the first time so that shoppers can try it for themselves.”

Ceri Brockway, Queens Arcade Marketing Manager is looking forward to the opening of Xfeet’s Foot therapy stand on the Mall this weekend, “We are always looking for ways to bring innovative health and beauty ideas to our customers, whether new products to take home or therapies they can try in the Centre and I am keen to try it myself, although I am rather ticklish!”
