Action sports retailer ‘Two Seasons’ set to take Cardiff to the next level

MD “can’t wait to meet people” in the new store in Queens Arcade when it opens on Thursday 18th November

This week Cardiff will have a new ‘action sports’ retailer on the scene and one determined to bring shoppers the best advice, products, service and price on a huge range of sports products. 
Two Seasons is the UK’s fastest growing board sports influenced retailer, with 24 stores across the UK and the Queens Arcade store set to be the 25th. But they do more than just board sports.  Stuart Roberts, founder and General Manager explains, “Two Seasons started off in 1983 as a way for me to support my passion for skiing and is still heavily influenced by snow-sports, including skiing and snowboarding.

“However, what really sets us apart is our unique product mix. We stock a comprehensive range of technical hardware for snow-sports and we also cater for boarders, surfers and action sports enthusiasts but most of the clothes are worn as street fashion, whereas other retailers are either equipment specialists or clothing stores. All our staff are trained in fitting equipment and advising on the most appropriate equipment for a customer’s desired sport and fitness level.
 
“We carry a wide range of the most popular brands, including North Face, Billabong, DC, Nike, Element, Nixon and Roxy. Our customers don’t need to be active sports participants to enjoy what we have to offer.”

Ceri Brockway, Queens Arcade Marketing Manager is delighted to welcome Two Seasons to the Centre, “We are looking forward to adding Two Seasons to our already strong young fashion and active lifestyle line-up. Shoppers are sure to enjoy their huge range of sport and fashion goods and the store will be an added attraction to the Centre at the entrance from The Hayes.” 

Stuart Roberts continues, “We are delighted to be opening in Cardiff; we have always wanted to have a store in the City which is a great shopping environment especially following the opening of the new St David’s. Cardiff has a history of involvement in active sports and has a large student population so is an ideal market for our product range.

“This is a terrific opportunity to follow up our successful opening last year in Bristol and to show Cardiff what we can do. I am really looking forward to meeting people in our new store and to show off our range and expertise. This is also a great moment for our former family business as my wife is from Cardiff!”
