Film, Television & Interactive Media Awards 2010

For the third consecutive year, the BAFTA Cymru Awards Ceremony will take place in the Donald Gordon Theatre at the Wales Millennium Centre on Sunday 23 May, 2010.

Cerys Matthews and Aled Jones will team up for the first time to host the star-studded event.

This year’s ceremony will bring with it a host of talent and celebrities in the Welsh media industry and see winners walk away with the coveted BAFTA Cymru mask in over 30 Programme, Craft and Performance categories - in addition to special presentations for the Siân Phillips Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Gwyn Alf Williams Award.

The BAFTA Cymru Film, Television & Interactive Media Award Ceremony is Wales’ most prestigious ceremony of its kind, celebrating excellence in entertainment and broadcasting.

Previous award winners and guests include; Sir Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Sheen, Jonathan Pryce, Ruth Jones, Eve Myles, Rhys Ifans, Leslie Phillips, David Tennant, Ioan Gruffudd, Steve Jones, Siân Phillips, Lord Richard Attenborough, Katherine Jenkins, Mike Leigh, Charlie Brooks, Russell T Davies, Gethin Jones, John Humphrys, Rob Brydon, Huw Edwards, Charlotte Church, Patrick Mower and Ken Russell.

BAFTA Cymru are dedicated to promoting and showcasing the best that Wales has to offer in film, television & interactive media.
