Little Horrors Holiday Free This Half Term At The Uk's Top Family Friendly Hotel

22nd September 2010

Parents can forget about struggling to keep children entertained this half term with the fabulous Halloween family break at the Vale Resort near Cardiff, where ghouls and ghosts will be unleashed, the creepy cranked up and the biggest treat for parents is that children stay FREE.

Named the UK’s Best Large Family Friendly Hotel at the Hotel Excellence Awards 2010, little ones are top of the agenda at the independently-owned Resort, and for sumptuous food, a host of fun, relaxation and quality time in outstanding surroundings, families should look no further than The Vale Resort.
The luxury 143-bed hotel has always catered brilliantly for families with a crèche, day nursery and holiday sports camps all on offer. The Resort has established itself as a market leader in offering innovative, fun-filled family breaks that make the most of its expansive 650-acre parkland location. It’s the perfect place to stay put or as a base to explore South Wales.

Many of the Resort’s rooms are extra large and have plenty of space for additional beds or cots. There are also a number of interconnecting rooms for older children, where parents can enjoy a little more privacy safe in the knowledge that they are tucked up safe and sound.

With a host of spooky activities to keep little ones entertained, special Halloween children’s packs, meals and drinks, Halloween is set to be a real treat at the Vale this Autumn half term.

The Vale Resort’s fantastic deal is just £189 per room for two nights, based on two adults and two children aged 16 or under staying in a family room. The break includes:

 2 night’s luxury 4* accommodation
 Full Welsh breakfast
 Free ghouly goody bag for under 6’s
 Complimentary use of extensive leisure facilities
 Free parking
 Up to 2 children (under 16) stay free in a family room
 A free main meal for under 12s (from the children’s menu) with every adult dining in The Vale Grill

The expansive resort is just 15 minutes away from the Welsh capital and all the sight-seeing, shopping and attractions it has to offer, while hands-on science discovery centre Techniquest is just twenty minutes away in Cardiff Bay. Cardiff Castle, St Fagan’s Folk Museum and Wales’ International Pool at Cardiff International Sports Village are also nearby, then just over an hour away, between Brecon and Swansea, is Dan yr Ogof Showcaves - a great treat for young dinosaurs fans. Or guests can simply enjoy the four-star luxury resort’s facilities and all it has to offer.

While parents enjoy a dip in the 20m pool, play a round on one of the Resort’s two championship golf courses or indulge in a luxurious treatment at the Resort’s Spa, which is the largest in Wales; little ones can be left in the safe hands of NNEB qualified staff.

On Halloween, there will be a children’s party from 2.30pm to 4.30pm for young guests to enjoy spooky activities, frightening food and a scary disco. This is FREE for children between 5 and 12 years old.
