St David’s has announced four new store openings to further its fashion offering at Wales’ biggest
Shake Away has now officially opened, with Calvin Klein Underwear set to open in February and both GAP and Boux Avenue preparing to open their stores soon afterwards.
Iconic brand CK Underwear’s 1,853 sq ft store will be located on the upper level of Grand Arcade, close to Hollister and John Lewis. The addition to St David’s will be the fifth in the UK, joining London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow and the brand’s first retail store in Wales.
Internationally renowned retailer Gap will also open a brand new store next month within Grand Arcade, located next to Apple.
The following month, St David’s will see the launch of exciting new brand Boux Avenue – a new venture by Dragon Theo Paphitis. The lingerie retailer promises to offer a multi-channel shopping experience with a focus on service. The brand is being launched across the UK this Spring with stores also opening at Manchester’s Trafford Centre and Bluewater in Kent.
Meanwhile, UK milkshake bar Shake Away which sells milkshakes made of ice-cream, milk and treat flavours from brands such as Cadbury’s, Nestle, Mars and McVitie’s is now set to complement the food and drink offering within St David’s. The flavours range from Jaffa Cake, Weetabix, Jam Doughnut and lemon curd to Double Decker, Rolo, Parma Violets and Jelly Babies.
St David’s centre director Steven Madeley said: “It has been a very busy couple of months with five million shoppers visiting us in December alone. With the start of a new year, we will continue to deliver more high quality brands to join the mix at St David’s. We are continuing to talk to a number of exciting retailers who are looking for new opportunities to expand their business and, for some, to bring their brand to Wales for the very first time.
“CK Underwear, GAP, Boux Avenue and Shake Away are just four of the new stores that will open in St David’s over the following few months and each has a unique offering to appeal to our diverse mix of shoppers.”
