Bank holiday galore at The Red Dragon Centre

Birds of Prey at The Red Dragon CentreCardiff's top entertainment destination, The Red Dragon Centre is laying on a spectacular series of events for Easter weekend. As well as all the usual cinema, restaurants and bowling galore to be enjoyed, the Centre is laying on a series of events to keep visitors entertained over the forthcoming Easter break.

The fun starts on Saturday 23rd April, from 12noon to 4pm with a display of Birds of Prey. Get up close to beautiful birds and owls. Handle them or take photographs for a small fee. 

Easter Sunday sees the intriguingly named event Easter Eggs on Legs – a comical, interactive and highly visual walkabout with mobile soundtrack and dance show that never fails to raise a smile, resulting in people of all ages becoming involved in their infectious egg-centric dance! Not to be missed - 30 minute appearances at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Easter Monday is Live Jazz from 1pm to 4pm. Sit back, relax and soak up the sounds of live jazz. The perfect accompaniment to a delicious meal at one of the centre's many restaurants.

For the extra Royal Wedding Bank Holiday on Friday 29th April, visit the Red Dragon Centre’s Royal Wedding Workshop from 12noon to 4pm. From crowns and tiaras to celebration flags, this royal wedding themed workshop is sure to delight children of all ages.

From Saturday 30th April to Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May from 10am to 6pm a local craft fair will be at the Red Dragon Centre. As well as all the usual fun to be had including cinema, bowling and restaurants, visitors can also look forward the craft fair showcasing local talents and products.
