Show your 'Calvins' to celebrate new Calvin Klein underwear store in St David's

Shoppers will be asked to ‘show their Calvins’ this weekend to celebrate the opening of the Calvin klein Underwear store in St David’s, Cardiff. The Calvin Klein Underwear store is officially launching this weekend and any shopper wearing Calvin Klein Underwear will receive a 20% discount in the Calvin Klein Underwear store.

The iconic and global brand is located on the upper level of Grand Arcade in St David’s with a 1,853 sq ft store, close to John Lewis, Hollister and Guess. Calvin Klein Underwear already has stores in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow as well a numerous stores across Europe, the US, Canada and Asia. St David’s is Calvin Klein Underwear’s first retail store in Cardiff, Wales.

The promotion will accompany activity within the new store and the malls throughout the weekend.

Steven Madeley, centre director for St David’s, said: “The promotion to offer a 20% discount to shoppers who can prove they are wearing Calvin Klein Underwear  is quite a quirky idea to celebrate opening the store and I’m sure it will be very popular with those wanting to take advantage of the offer.

“Calvin Klein Underwear is a fantastic big brand to bring to Cardiff and to Wales for its first retail store and further enhances the quality offering within St David’s. It has been part of our long-term strategy to hold out for the quality brands that our shoppers want which has included bringing names such as Hollister, Nike, Jo Malone and LEGO to St David’s. With more new stores opening each month, it gives shoppers more reason to return to St David’s and experience new brands as well as shop in the ones they already know and love.”

Stores set to open in the next few months include lingerie store Boux Avenue which is spearheaded by retail guru Theo Paphitis on April 6, a Krispy Kreme coffee bar on April 19, Mango, Tesco Express and Red Hot World Buffet.
