Cath Kidston sets its sights on St David's

St David’s, the joint venture between Capital Shopping Centres and Land Securities, has confirmed that it will be the first shopping destination in Wales to offer visitors exclusive access to British brand Cath Kidston.

Set to open its doors to shoppers in Cardiff later this summer the brand is famous for its distinctive designs, offering an extensive range of homewares, women’s fashion and accessories and the much-loved Cath Kids brand.

Founded in 1993, the brand has quickly developed into one of the most recognisable and standout lifestyle brands from the UK.

The 2,552 sq ft store in St David’s will be located on the lower ground of The Hayes, close to Jo Malone and L.K. Bennett.

Steven Madeley, centre director at St David’s, said: “Cath Kidston is a particularly unique brand, which is known and loved my many. To be the first retail location in Wales to offer shoppers access to a stand-alone Cath Kidston store is fantastic for St David’s and for our visitors. We are confident that the brand will be the perfect addition to complement the impressive list of exclusive brands already on offer along The Hayes and across the centre.”

With 40 stores and concessions across the UK and two in Ireland, Cath Kidston has also demonstrated its growing popularity by expanding its presence in Japan and Korea and opening its first airport store at London Heathrow’s Terminal 4.
