Doctor Who Experience landing in Cardiff this summer

The search is on for staff to work at the Doctor Who Experience, a new visitor attraction due to open in Porth Teigr, Cardiff Bay.

BBC Worldwide is placing adverts for a Commercial Manager, a Retail and Merchandising Manager, an Events Services Manager and Event Manager. 

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the day-to day management of the Cardiff site, and will manage the other three members of the team. The commercial manager appointed will be solely focussed on commercial and operational aspects of the Doctor Who Experience, which is committed to Cardiff until 2017. 

The Doctor Who Experience will be part of BBC Worldwide’s Live Events department – a rapidly expanding area set up to manage and develop commercial events. These are mainly ticketed consumer events based on BBC brands and properties and include events like Strictly Come Dancing Arena Tour, Cbeebies Arena Tour, Doctor Who Convention, Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular and the Doctor Who Experience.
