The Capital's first concrete skate park

The Cardiff Barrage Skate Plaza is the Capital’s first concrete skate park, made from a number of different materials including concrete, brick and granite. Covering over 1,100 square metres, local skateboarders have been involved in both the design and construction of the park in order to make sure that it meets the needs of all users. It has been designed to replicate features from other famous skating parks around the world and includes a jump called the ‘Beijing Gap’ from China.
