Vintage & Markets

Cardiff has a huge range of small and boutique stores offering vintage and individual pieces.
The city's historic arcades are one of the best places to find vintage stores - in particular High Street Arcade. Morgan Arcade is also home to a number of vintage shops as well as the Oxfam Boutique store, which is one of only 7 in the UK.
In addition you'll find antique and retro furniture, records and books at Jacob’s antique market or the Pumping Station.

Cardiff Market has been trading in one form or another since the 1700s. It has occupied the same site for over 100 years and although you'll longer find livestock tethered and penned outside its doors, some of the old features remain to this day.
The Market building is an impressive Victorian structure which offers a unique shopping experience in the heart of a modern, bustling city. Over two storeys you’ll find the usual market stalls selling fruit, veg, cheeses, cold meats as well as Welsh gifts and souvenirs. As well as the usual produce, you'll find 2nd hand and books and vinyl records.
On Sunday mornings Riverside Farmers Market takes place on the Taff embankment alongside the river, across from the Millennium Stadium.
