Cardiff cuts it for X Factor judge Kelly

X Factor judge Kelly Rowland has revealed that she fell in love with Cardiff during her stay to film auditions last summer.

When Kelly was interviewed by the Independent about her travel memories, she chose Cardiff as her favourite place in the British Isles.The former Destiny’s Child singer said: “Cardiff was really beautiful when we went down to do the X Factor auditions.

“The sun was out and all the seagulls were flying around. We had a hotel by the bay. It was so good.”

The 30-year-old, who usually lives in Miami, added: “I love a nice hotel room – a place with great sheets. But the more you experience different kinds of luxury, the more you know what you're comfortable with.”

Kelly stayed at St David’s Hotel & Spa in Cardiff Bay in July while filming auditions for the latest series of the ITV show.
