Cardiff University

Cardiff is the one of the UK’s leading universities. The city’s oldest and largest university is based amidst the parks, Portland stone buildings and tree-lined avenues that form Cardiff’s elegant civic centre, just a few minutes walk from the city centre.

The University has an outstanding reputation for its teaching and research activities and is a member of the Russell Group of leading UK research institutions. Its 28 academic schools offer around 500 courses with more than 40 accredited by professional bodies. Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC)

University of Glamorgan

Every year, over 23,000 students choose the University of Glamorgan. With modern campuses in Cardiff and Pontypridd, the University is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and quality teaching, learning and leisure facilities.

In September 2007, the University opened its landmark Cardiff campus at the heart of the city. ATRiuM is home to the Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries, which brings together the creative disciplines of Design, Media & Communication and Drama & Music. The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is part of the University Of Glamorgan Group and is the National Conservatoire of Wales.
