Every year, over 21,000 students choose the University of Glamorgan. With modern campuses in Cardiff and Pontypridd, the University is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and quality teaching, learning and leisure facilities.
The University offers over 200 courses that all provide the right balance of academic and work-related skills to give students a real advantage in today’s competitive job market, resulting in one of the best graduate employment rates in the UK.
In September 2007, the University opened its landmark Cardiff campus at the heart of the city. ATRiuM is home to the Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries, which brings together the creative disciplines of Design, Media & Communication and Drama & Music. In this specially-designed building, students learn using cutting-edge technology and industry-standard equipment.
The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is part of the University Of Glamorgan Group and is the National Conservatoire of Wales. From its city centre campus, the College provides specialist practical and performance-based training that enables students to enter and influence the worlds of music, theatre and related professions.
The College trains and educates some of the most talented students from around the world, aiming to give them not just the technical and craft skills they will need to operate at the top levels of the profession, but also to help them to discover and develop their individual artistic ‘voice’.
