Celebrate the long Bank Holiday at the end of the summer in Cardiff Bay with a feast of nautical entertainment for all the family.

“Fish and Ships 2011!”

Cardiff Bay is the place to be once again this August Bank Holiday weekend as the Harbour Festival returns for another year. Among the highlights of this years festival are the Breitling Wing walkers who will be flying high over Cardiff Bay on Sunday at 12pm and Monday at 4.30pm.

Other attractions will include Tall Ships, including the ever popular the Matthew, a superb continental market selling a large array of produce from all over the world, sea shanty singers, comedy walkabouts, fairground rides and music.

If you have kids, why not bring them down to ‘The Last Resort’? Our alternate end of pier attraction will return bigger and better for a second year complete with sand pit, beach huts, hilarious shows and other attractions. Be careful because not everything is always as it seems and you could get more than you bargained for! Come and visit and all will be revealed!

The Last Resort is also the place to be to enter the ever-popular ‘Best dressed Pirate and Sea Creature Competition’ at 3.30pm on Monday afternoon.
