Entries are now open for the fourth Tata Steel Cardiff Bay 5 that will again take place on the May Day Bank Holiday Monday.

The 5-mile route takes you over the barrage that links Cardiff to Penarth - with fresh water on one side of you and salt water on the other; don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife in the water too.

The 2k Fun Run is open to everyone regardless of age or ability; its purpose is to enable everyone to be part of a mass participation event with no pressure whatsoever to sprint, break any records or even run at all. So, if you want to race or walk backwards, you are most welcome - it's fun for all.

Cardiff Bay has been beautifully renovated in the last few years so get your family and friends together and head down to the Welsh capital - you could enter a team from your athletics club, school, work, gym, college etc. too.
