A Balloon Art Fiesta, inspired by all things wild and wonderful, is soaring into The Red Dragon Centre with a spectacular showcase of balloon sculptures!
The floor sculptures, made from *Qualatex latex balloons (not plastic), will be on display in the heart of The Red Dragon Centre between Friday 23 – Monday 26 August and will be free to view.
Little ones can also enjoy a free sculpture trail between 11am-6pm by picking up a form from the Green Zone inside the Centre, which houses a giant green sofa, as well as a life-sized artificial grass lion, in celebration of the new Disney live action remake of The Lion King.
Wales’ three day celebration of diversity and inclusivity is not to be missed for culture vultures as the most colorful event in Cardiff’s calendar will be turning the City Hall Lawn and surrounding streets into a carnival of song, dance and protest in celebration and solidarity of the welsh LGBT+ Community.
Hub Festival is the annual Grass-roots music, art and culture festival which takes place on August Bank Holiday each year on the cities famous Womanby Street, the home of the cities music scene. You’ll Find Hip-hop MC’s battling it out, Street Art being painted, dance, poetry, and loads of live music spanning every genre.
Womanby Street has a unique identity created autonomously by local creatives, independents and the city’s music scene. Home to hipster hang-out spots like Blue honey Night Café and the Castle Emporium, craft beer and speakeasy bars like Tiny Rebel and Bootlegger and independent music venues like Clwb Ifor Bach and The Moon. Take a Cardiff Tasting Tour
