We’ll treat the winners to an exciting, festive day out, including a VIP booth to watch Santa’s Wish in the Christmas Festival at Sophia Gardens, family ice skating tickets at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland and a delicious meal at Franco Manca.
This prize is set for two adults and two children or one adult and three children on Sun 17 Dec, so make sure you’re free to Visit Cardiff on that date.

SANTA’S WISH IN THE SPIEGELTENT
Sit back in your VIP booth and enjoy the heart-warming family musical adventure, Santa’s Wish. Enriched with original songs, immersive storytelling and a sprinkling of circus magic, it’s guaranteed to leave the whole family bursting with festive joy and happiness.
Performed in the beautiful, ornate and intimate Fortuna Spiegeltent, within the Sophia Gardens grounds, this unmissable Christmas experience is suitable for all ages.
FAMILY MEAL AT FRANCO MANCA
You will be treated to a delicious 2/3 course Christmas set lunch menu at City Centre restaurant, Franco Manca. They’re bringing you classic Christmas flavours like their three cheese fonduta starter and smoked salmon pizza with mascarpone, chives and lemon, as well as some exciting new taste sensations!
From decadent porcini mushrooms, egg yolk and truffle oil, to punchy pulled lamb and cavolo nero, or earthy beetroot, broccoli and green beans, there’s something for everyone.
ICE SKATING AT CARDIFF’S WINTER WONDERLAND
Enjoy family ice skating tickets at the beautiful Cardiff Castle grounds against the backdrop of the Norman Keep. The undercover 40m x 15m ice rink, with the 150m Ice Walk, is suitable for all ages and abilities. Worked up an appetite?

The Prize Draw
- Entrants must be UK residents aged 18+ to participate in the prize draw.
- Each entrant will be limited to one entry into the prize draw.
- Entrants must enter their details by 23:59GMT on Sunday, 3 December 2023.
- The winner will be chosen at random and notified on Monday, 04 December 2023, via telephone and email.
- The winner will have until 14:30GMT on Mon, 04 December to accept the prize or an alternative winner will be drawn.
- No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the prize draw.
- This prize draw terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms if circumstances arise outside of its control.
- The promoter does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the prize draw.
- Entrants are providing information to the promoter and this information will be used solely to administer the prize draw.
- The surname and UK location of the prize winner will be available by emailing within one month of the end of the prize draw.
- The promoter is Visit Cardiff, County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW.
- Entrants to the prize draw will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
The Prize
- The prize is inclusive of one family pass for Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at 1.30, a meal at Franco Manca at 2.30 and tickets to see Santa’s Wish at Sophia Gardens at 5pm.
- All elements of the prize will be provided for a family of four, at least one person must be a child aged under 16 years.
- All elements of the prize must be redeemed on the dates / times indicated (see below), subject to availability.
- No cash or other alternatives will be offered, and prizes are non-transferable.
- The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- The winner’s information will be provided to the partners named above and will be used solely to administer the prize.
FRANCO MANCA
- A meal for a family of 4 at Franco Manca.
- 2/3 course set menu and one beer/small glass of house wine for the adults and a soft drink for the children.

CARDIFF'S WINTER WONDERLAND
- Family ice skating passes for a family of 4 at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland.

THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
- Tickets for a family of 4 to see Santa’s Wish in the Cardiff Christmas Festival at Sophia Gardens, with VIP seating.
