Visit Cardiff has teamed up with our partners to bring you a magical, family Christmas competition!
We’ll treat the winner to an exciting, festive day out, including a VIP booth to watch Santa’s Wish in the Christmas Festival at Cardiff Castle, family passes for the funfair at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland and a delicious meal at Honest Burgers.
This prize is set for two people from Sun 18 Dec, so make sure you’re free to Visit Cardiff on those dates.

HONEST BURGERS
Located on Church St just a stone’s throw away from Winter Wonderland, you will be treated to your very own burger party at Honest Burgers. Enjoy any burger with homemade rosemary salted chips plus onion rings, gravy and dressed green salad to share. The adults will also enjoy a welcome prosecco plus the choice of two alcoholic drinks per person – prosecco, red, white or rosĂ© wine, or any can or half pint of beer.
Using only British produce, you’ll be tasting some of the most delicious burgers on offer. Cardiff is the only location offering honest beef, candied bacon, Hafod organic cheddar, Cwtch leeks, mustard mayo, lamb’s lettuce and pickles. This is the perfect spot to fuel up before enjoying the next leg of your prize.
CARDIFF’S WINTER WONDERLAND
Cardiff’s famous and much-loved Winter Wonderland is back for 2022, split once again across two iconic city centre locations, Cardiff Castle and City Hall Lawn.
Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland just wouldn’t be complete without its famous family funfair. With family passes, our winners can enjoy the best view of the city from atop the Giant Wheel, plus the great range of other attractions that are suitable for all ages, not to mention nightly entertainment.
SANTA’S WISH IN THE SPIEGELTENT
Sit back in your VIP booth and enjoy the heart-warming family musical adventure, Santa’s Wish. Enriched with original songs, immersive storytelling and a sprinkling of circus magic, it’s guaranteed to leave the whole family bursting with festive joy and happiness.
Performed in the beautiful, ornate and intimate Fortuna Spiegeltent, within the historical grounds of Cardiff Castle, this unmissable Christmas experience is suitable for all ages.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Prize Draw
- Entrants must be UK residents aged 18+ to participate in the prize draw.
- Each entrant will be limited to one entry into the prize draw from Monday, 7 November 2022.
- Entrants must enter their details via this webpage by 23:59GMT on Wednesday, 30 November 2022.
- The winner will be chosen at random and notified by Thursday, 01 December 2022, via telephone and email.
- The winner will have until 14:30GMT on Friday, 02 December to accept the prize or an alternative winner will be drawn.
- No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the prize draw.
- This prize draw terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms if circumstances arise outside of its control.
- The promoter does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the prize draw.
- Entrants are providing information to the promoter and this information will be used solely to administer the prize draw.
- The surname and UK location of the prize winner will be available by emailing within one month of the end of the prize draw.

The Prize
- The prize is inclusive of a burger party at Honest Burgers, family passes for Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland Funfair and tickets to see Santa’s Wish at Cardiff Castle.
- All elements of the prize will be provided for a family of four, at least one person must be a child aged under 16 years.
- All elements of the prize must be redeemed on the dates / times indicated (see below), subject to availability.
- No cash or other alternatives will be offered, and prizes are non-transferable.
- The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- The winner’s information will be provided to the partners named above and will be used solely to administer the prize.
