Skye piper Brìghde Chaimbeul is one of the fastest rising stars of folk music. Her debut album ‘The Reeling’, produced by Lau’s Aidan O’Rourke, was released earlier this year to enormous critical acclaim and this intimate solo performance will be inspired, in Brìghde’s words, “by the deep-rooted connection between piping, Gaelic song and canntaireachd, and the global connections of piping and the folk who sing and play to tell stories.”

“A talent beyond her years.” – Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2 Folk Show

“Simultaneously ancient and modern, profound and direct” The Guardian
