REBECCA HURN grew up near the sea in Porthcawl, which is reflective in her award-winning EP ‘Waves’, named ‘Best Folk Song’ at the Independent Music Awards in New York. In 2021 she received ‘Best Songwriter’ for ‘Panic’ at the global UK songwriting contest against thousands of entries from over 60
countries. Album ‘Brace For Impact’ was released in May with grant supportfrom PRS, BBC & NY Songwriters Circle to pursue her recording ambitions. Rebecca has performed at The Great Escape, Focus Wales, In It Together, has played at Principality Stadium, WMC, Tramshed and was personally selected by
Pixie Lott to play her London showcase with Tom Grennan.

AWDL: Cardiff folk duo.

MELDA LOIS: Welsh-language singer-songwriter based in Cardiff, with a rural upbringing in Snowdonia which is foundational to her writing. Imagery of nature, the mountains and the sea weave through her songs, with a warm yet melancholic sound, collecting her musings on the little details of life.

FRANKIE WESSON started writing & performing at age 16 in hometown Abergavenny. Cinematic songs drawing from personal experiences of bitter-sweet nostalgia, unrequited love, teenage angst and the complicated reality of growing up LGBT+. Raised on artists like Alanis Morrisette, Eva Cassidy and Stevie Nicks, Frankie also takes inspiration from recent acts like Deaf Havana, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Gabrielle Aplin. Intimate, emotionally raw yet laid-back music with a pop/folk/rock feel – a versatile vocal range and talent for emotive, relatable songwriting making for captivating live performances.

TOM PILKS: Mesmerising fusion of rock & folk with soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, enthralling audiences with his impassioned performances.
