Join us for a unique Gala performance featuring world-class dancers from across the globe.
Glorious Gala brings together the best of classical dance with a selection of pieces from popular ballets, including Le Corsaire – Pas d’esclave and Pas de deux, La Bayadere – Kingdom of the Shades, and Don Quixote. Excerpts from less frequently performed works include Flames of Paris and La Esmeralda – Diana and Actaeon. The Gala programme is further enhanced by the Hopak, a Ukrainian folk dance full of energy and passion.
This dynamic programme is performed by The International Classic Ballet Theatre. This company of international dancers comes to the UK following performances in the United States, where they have toured extensively in 2022 to great acclaim. The dancers are carefully selected by Georgia-born Artistic Director, Marina Medvetskaya, a former prima ballerina of Tbilisi State Academic Opera and Ballet. Each dancer is chosen for their grace, skill and athleticism, essential for the demanding nature of the performances.
