Event Info

This exhibition brings together two projects carried out during the Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020. The ‘Diff Diaries tell about the lockdown experiences of children in Cardiff in various video, image, and written word diaries.

Also displayed alongside the ‘Diff Diaries are photographs collected from the people of Cardiff during lockdown. These show how normal city life was impacted when citizens had to stay indoors and how communities came together to support each other and show their appreciation for key workers during this time.

Visitors to the exhibition are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences of lockdown and the Covid-19 pandemic and add their memories to a reflection board in the exhibition. These will then be recorded and kept as part of the museum’s collection.

Free entry.
