Variety is the spice of life and in music there is no better way to explore this than through a string ensemble. Simmy Singh is passionate about bringing our old traditions into the world of today and this programme is an expression of just that. From the spiritual meditations of Arvo Pärt, to the mystical Welsh hills and over the Atlantic Ocean to the world of bluegrass, this programme explores all the wonderful sounds and spaces that a string ensemble can embody.
