Visit Cardiff have teamed up with Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival, Hilton Cardiff and Cardiff Castle to offer an amazing prize draw.
One family (2 adults and 2 children under 16, or 1 adult and 3 children under 16) will be treated to a super prize including an overnight stay in a luxury city centre hotel, tickets to six events of their choice, entry to Cardiff Castle to uncover its historic tales, plus a selection of books from the authors reading at the event.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- No Purchase Necessary: Entering the competition is completely free and requires no purchase.
- Start date: Tuesday 4 March 2025. Closing date: 23:59 GMT on Monday 17 March 2025.
- To participate in the prize draw entrants must enter their details via the website.
- Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
- Visit Cardiff does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost for example, because of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
- Information provided by entrants will be used solely for the administration of the prize draw.
- By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used to administer the competition.
- An opportunity to opt-in to receive additional promotional materials will be available at time of entry.
- Entry Limit: Participation is capped at one entry per person.
- Open exclusively to UK residents aged 18 plus.
- The winner must be available to redeem the prize on Saturday 29 March and Sunday 30 March 2025.
- Visit Cardiff reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
- Unless otherwise stated, our prize draws exempts employees of the Visit Cardiff team in Cardiff Council, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
- The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries returned by participants – and notified on Tuesday 17 March 2025, via telephone and email.
- All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. The winner must claim their prize by 17:00 GMT Wednesday 18 March 2025, or another winner will be drawn.
- The confirmation and itinerary will be sent to the winner no later than Monday 24 March 2025.
- The surname and location of the winner will be accessible via email request within one month following the prize draw’s conclusion.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- Travel and transport are not included as part of the prize.
Visit Cardiff reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control makes it necessary to do so.
- Visit Cardiff reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Liability: The promoter is not liable for damages, losses, injuries, or disappointment incurred by entrants due to participating in the prize draw.

- Promoter’s Details: The competition is promoted by Visit Cardiff, part of Cardiff Council, located at County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW.
- 1 night stay for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 under 16s or 1 adult, 3 under 16s) on Saturday, 29 March 2025.
- Family room, bed & breakfast.
- Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 12:00.
- Breakfast served 07:30 – 11:00.
- When we notify the winner, we will ask them which three events from Sat, 29 March 2025 and which three events from Sun, 30 March 2025. We need this information by Thu, 20 March 2025 so we can confirm as part of your confirmed itinerary.
- Events are subject to availability and situations that are outside of our control, so whilst we will endeavour to honour the three events on each day you wish to attend, we may need to offer alternative events for you to attend.
- The bundle of books is made up of a minimum of 5 books from authors that are attending Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival 2025.
- 4 general admission tickets to Cardiff Castle for your choice of Sat, 29 Mar 2025 or Sun, 30 Mar 2025. We need to know your preference by Thu, 24 Mar 2025 to include in your confirmation itinerary.
