Where to Find Santa in Cardiff and South Wales this Christmas

No festive Season is complete without meeting the big man himself! Father Christmas will be making his way to Cardiff very soon and has agreed to meet all of the good boys and girls in various locations in the city.

THE SANTA EXPERIENCE AT PRINCIPALITY STADIUM

2^nd December – 24^th December

Explore the sacred halls of Principality Stadium before stepping into the magical winter wonderland, and beating heart of the home of Welsh Rugby.  A place where heroes gather, a place of legends, a place of dreams.

For the first time in the stadium’s history, the Home Changing Room, a place where heroes gather has been transformed into Santa’s grotto. Visitors will follow in the footsteps of rugby legends as Santa and his team of busy helpers make Principality Stadium home for the month of December.

SANTA’S GROTTO ON QUEEN STREET

10^th November – 24^th December

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and visit Santa!

Housed in a traditional wooden chalet, dressed perfectly for the festive season, children can meet Santa and his elves. It is open 7 days a week from 10:30am and a ticket includes a gift from Santa.

BELIEVE AT ST DAVID’S DEWI SANT

25^th November – 24^th December

Believe, the enchanted Christmas grotto experience, is returning to St David’s Cardiff daily from Friday November 25, right up until Christmas Eve, Saturday December 24 – with tickets on sale now.

Guests are welcomed into a mystical cavern where they’ll meet one of Santa’s trusted elves, McJingles, and the magical talking reindeer, Norbert – a small creature with big dreams. Watch out, Rudolf! Discover more here.

MEET SANTA AT THE ROYAL MINT EXPERIENCE

26^th November – 24^th December

This Christmas, visit The Royal Mint Experience dusted with a blanket of snow, all white and magical for a wonderful festive experience.

Filled with wonder and delight, it is sure to be a truly magical day out with the kids this Christmas. The Royal Mint Christmas Experience runs everyday from Saturday, 26 November to Saturday, 24 December.

SANTA’S TOY MINE AT RHONDDA HERITAGE PARK

19^th November – 24^th December

Santa and his amazing Toy Mine are returning to A Welsh Coal Mining Experience at Rhondda Heritage Park for 2022. The ever-popular event allows visitors the chance to enjoy a festive tour and experience and meet the man in red himself!

A Welsh Coal Mining Experience will once again be transformed into a Christmas wonderland – it’s the perfect chance to celebrate the most wonderful time of year in a traditional way.

DINING WITH SANTA AT FUTURE INN

4^th December – 24^th December

Santa is very busy this time of year getting everything ready for the big day, but even the big man himself needs to stop and refuel so why not join him this festive season at Future Inn Cardiff Bay and enjoy a traditional Sunday roast lunch, or for a hearty brunch before he gets to work. He is busy preparing for Christmas Day but will make time for all the good boys and girls.

Spend some time with the family, get your Christmas jumpers on and head to the Bay for a festive feast with Santa this holiday.

EXPERIENCE SANTA’S WISH IN THE SPIEGELTENT

2nd December – 31st December

And last but not least, you can join Snowflake the Elf on this festive adventure as they help rescue Santa’s sleigh and keep Christmas on track, hosted within Cardiff Castle’s very own Christmas enchanting Spiegeltent, experience a production as unique as the performance venue.
