8 February 2019 is Welsh Language Music Day

Welsh Language Music Day celebrates all forms of Welsh Language music. Whether you’re into indie, rock, punk, funk, folk, electronica, hip hop or anything else, there’s incredible music being made in the Welsh language for you to discover.

Thursday 7th February

Senedd: Horizon and DMC Gig at the Senedd!  (5pm-9pm)

BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens will be hosting with performances by Adwaith, Chroma and Eadyth. Speaking at the event will be Eluned Morgan AM.

Friday 8th February

John Lewis, Cardiff (11am-11.30am)  

special performance from HMS Morris. Free event.

               

City Arms (1pm-3pm) 

An event in City Arms with Brains to launch that Brains are going to play music in every pub from the 8th of February onwards. Bands, HMS Morris, Mellt and Lili Beau

Hen Lyfrgell (2pm-3pm) 

Music Tots, Join Menter Caerdydd with a Music Tots taster session – perfect for 0-5 year olds and their families!
