Informing, involving and inspiring a new generation to shape the future
The Pierhead has been a central part of the Cardiff Bay landscape, having witnessed colossal change in the last century. Since 1897 it has helped Wales forge its identity. Today its aim is to inform, involve and inspire a new generation to shape the future. Visit our interactive exhibition and experience the stories that have put Cardiff Bay at the forefront of Welsh economic and civil identity for the best part of 200 years.
Leave the M4 at Junction 33, follow the A4232 to Cardiff Bay and follow signposts to the National Assembly for Wales, CF99 1NA.
The Pierhead is only a short walk from Cardiff Bay train station and the bay area can be accessed from the city centre on Baycar bus number 6.
