Pottery Painting with the Earth at Techniquest

Event Info

Come and experience a night of pottery painting with the Earth led by Peggy’s Pots. Gaia, Techniquest’s new installation of the Earth by artist Luke Jerram, will be your muse!

You can choose from a variety of different pottery pieces (subject to availability) — such as cute mugs and plates — and get creative with your designs. Peggy’s Pots will be on hand to offer advice on the best materials and techniques to use to bring your unique piece to life.

No experience needed — just pick a piece, take inspiration from Gaia, and paint it your way. It will be glazed and fired for you to collect from Peggy’s Pots’ Canton location in 2–3 weeks.

Coffee Mania, the coffee shop next door to Techniquest, will be open until 7:30pm. They have a range of drinks and snacks which can be purchased and taken into the event.
