Find the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions by residents and key workers living and working in Cardiff, regarding the current lockdown.
We all need to help keep Cardiff safe and, now that all of Wales is at alert level 4, it’s important that you don’t visit the city unless it’s essential.

WASH YOUR HANDS
Wash your hands regularly and to take advantage of the hand sanitising facilities on offer. This is especially important whilst shopping, if you’ve picked up a package or handling food.

WEAR A FACE COVERING
Wearing a face covering is now a legal requirement in all public indoor places for all persons aged 11 and over. This includes shops, takeaway venues and public transport.

MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING
Please remember that you must keep the appropriate 2m social distancing between you and anybody that is not a member of your household or extended household.
VISIT CARDIFF FROM HOME
You may not be able to visit Cardiff right now due to the lockdown, but you can still 'visit Cardiff from home'. We've put together loads of great ideas for enjoying Cardiff without even having to step out of your front door!
