WELCOME BACK TO CARDIFF

Great news everybody, as of Saturday 7 August Wales will be moving to Alert Level 0 and this means that even more Covid-19 restrictions will be eased, more on those below. Things may be looking up but we should all continue to be responsible, so please help to keep Cardiff safe. Remember to clean your hands, wear a mask and maintain social distancing where appropriate.

ALERT LEVEL ZERO GUIDANCE:

  • The legal restrictions on the number of people who can meet indoors, including in private homes, public places or at events will now be removed.
  • All our remaining businesses and premises will now be able to open again, including nightclubs.
  • Everyone should continue work from home wherever possible.
  • Face coverings will remain a legal requirement indoors, with the exception of hospitality premises serving food and drink.

HELP KEEP CARDIFF SAFE

WASH YOUR HANDS

Wash your hands regularly and to take advantage of the hand sanitising facilities on offer. This is especially important whilst shopping, if you’ve picked up a package or handling food.

WEAR A FACE COVERING

Wearing a face covering is still a legal requirement in all public indoor places (for all persons aged 11 and over) with the exception of hospitality venues where food and drink is being served.

MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING

Remember that maintaining social distance is the most effective way to lower the spread of Covid, so please try and stay 2m away from others whenever possible.
