FIREBREAK LOCKDOWN: A series of restrictive measures will be in place in Wales from 18:00 on Friday 23 October

FIREBREAK LOCKDOWN IN WALES

A short firebreak lockdown is being introduced across Wales to help regain control of coronavirus, save lives and prevent the NHS from being overwhelmed. This means that a series of restrictive measures will be in place from 18:00 Friday 23 October until 00:01 Monday 9 November 2020.

What are the firebreak lockdown restrictions?

  • Everybody must stay at home, except for very limited purposes.
  • Nobody may visit other households or meet people they do not live with.
  • Certain businesses and venues, including bars, restaurants and most shops must close
  • Face coverings are mandatory in the indoor public spaces that remain open, including on public transport and taxis.
