Gin & Topics: Where Art Meets Science

Event Info

Join fellow curious minds for a G&T and an inspiring discussion featuring leading experts.

Taking place every other month, Gin & Topics evenings will take place under Gaia, our new installation of the Earth by visionary artist Luke Jerram. Taking inspiration from Gaia, we’ll cover a wide range of subjects connecting science and art, people and planet.

The bar will be open throughout and you’ll also have time to explore our exhibition floor with over 130 hands-on exhibits.

On Thursday 3 December, you can hear from Gaia creator Luke Jerram, followed by a thought-provoking discussion on the shared ground between artistic creativity and scientific discovery, featuring Luke and a panel of artists and researchers.

Your ticket includes: a complimentary gin & tonic on arrival from Grounds for Good or DIRWEST (non-alcoholic option), with additional drinks available to be purchased from the bar; hear from experts on a range of topics;
experience Gaia, our new art installation, by Luke Jerram;
130+ hands-on exhibits to explore — both new and nostalgic.

You must be 18+ to attend this event.
