The Full Monty

Event Info

Sometimes you have to bare everything! Get ready for a night of big laughs, heartfelt moments and unforgettable entertainment as The Full Monty arrives at Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff as part of its major national tour, celebrating 30 years of the iconic film that took British cinema by storm.

Back by popular demand, this hilarious and moving stage production, presented by The Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham and Buxton Opera House in association with Mark Goucher and David Pugh, brings Simon Beaufoy’s much-loved story to life in all its cheeky glory.

When Gaz and his mates find themselves out of work and struggling to make ends meet, they feel they’ve been thrown on the scrap heap. Facing financial pressures and uncertain futures, the group decide to take matters into their own hands and attempt something completely outrageous: putting on a strip show to make some much-needed cash. But as they prepare to bare all, they discover that finding the courage to stand tall takes more than simply taking your clothes off.

Starring Kevin Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing, Priscilla Queen of the Desert UK and Ireland tour) as Gaz, alongside Stewart Wright, James Gaddas, Ben Onwukwe, Jon-Paul Bell and Zrey Sholapurkar, this fast-paced production is packed with laugh-out-loud comedy, touching friendships and moments that hit close to home.

With its rollercoaster of laughs and heartbreak, a soundtrack celebrating the music of the ’90s and a story that remains as relevant today as ever, The Full Monty is a feel-good night at the theatre that celebrates friendship, resilience and the power of finding your confidence when life gets tough.

Whether you’re revisiting a British classic or discovering the story for the first time, join the lads for the show of their lives. Book now for a night of comedy, camaraderie and a little bit of cheeky mischief!
