Event Info
The Ivy Cardiff is bringing a little French joie de vivre to the heart of the Welsh capital on Thursday 19 November, with a special Beaujolais Day celebration combining French-inspired dining and live entertainment.
An iconic date in the French calendar, Beaujolais Day is celebrated each year on the third Thursday of November, when the first bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau are released to mark the new harvest. From 11:30am, guests at The Ivy Cardiff can join in the tradition with two courses for £50 or three courses for £55.
The specially curated menu features dishes including Coquilles Saint-Jacques et Crevettes with truffle spinach and lobster velouté, Pan-fried Sea Bass with Caviar Beurre Blanc and Crème Brûlée Flambée, all served with live entertainment to bring the occasion to life.
As evening falls, Broadway Brunch will present a special Beaujolais Day celebration with a West End twist. Welsh musical theatre stars Sophie Evans and Steffan Hughes will bring show-stopping vocals, feel-good anthems and plenty of singalong moments to the restaurant. From 7pm until late, guests will receive a glass of Beaujolais on arrival, nibbles at the table and a three-course dinner for £85 per person.
Located on The Hayes, the brasserie provides an elegant setting to settle in, raise a glass and toast the first pour of the season in true Ivy style.
