ICE SKATING AT WINTER WONDERLAND

Winter Wonderland’s seasonal Ice Rink, now located in the Castle’s beautiful grounds, has been the centrepiece of Cardiff’s festivities for many a year. Suitable for all abilities, the undercover ice rink also includes a magical Ice Walk, set against the stunning backdrop of the mighty Norman Keep.
BUTE PARK LIGHTS UP FOR CHRISTMAS

This light trail is already a firm favourite in Cardiff’s Christmas calendar and, after its first two sell-out years, Christmas at Bute Park is back! This year, experience a new and expanded route with characteristically spectacular illuminations, then sit down to enjoy some truly delicious street food.

We are delighted that the Christmas Festival will be returning again this year, moving from the Castle Grounds across the river into Sophia Gardens. With a selection of of three super shows, Santa’s Wish, Castellana, and a one off concert by Welsh of the West End; all in the unique setting of the Spiegeltent!

Chill out with your mates and enjoy a drink at the city’s coolest hotspot, the exciting Ice Bar experience at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland! This place is a heaven for Insta fans, where sub-zero temperatures and furniture and sculptures made out of ice guarantee great photos.
