Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) is an exhilarating, on-demand adventure facility in the heart of the International Sports Village. Come and enjoy a range of exciting leisure activities for adventure-seekers of all ages.
A centre of excellence for training, the venue also provides expertly run courses, from the Paddle School to Duke of Edinburgh Awards. CIWW has so many amazing activities on offer that whatever watersport you’re looking for, they’re bound to have it covered!
With up to six people in a raft, white water rafting is one of the most sociable activities available. Suitable for complete beginners and seasoned white water enthusiasts, the two hour coached sessions provide action-packed fun from start to finish. On Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings, the level and speed of the water are lowered to accommodate younger children (aged 6+), so that the whole family can ride the rapids together.
Or why not try Indoor Wave? The simulated surf machine provides the thrill of bodyboarding all year round in the convenience of a city location. If you’re not a fan of water, Air Trail is guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping. Get harnessed up and cross the high ropes timber structure towering above the white water course, and try the challenging Burma Bridge, Monkey Swing, Barrel Crawl and Zip Wire.
