Everyman Theatre is Cardiff's most lively and ambitious theatre company.

Everyman Theatre was founded in 1942 and is Cardiff’s most lively and ambitious theatre company. Based at Chapter Arts Centre , the company and provides an eclectic range of plays, with four productions each year.

The company also stages one of the largest outdoor theatre festivals in the UK – the Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival in Cardiff city centre in June and July .

In 2021 the festival includes Shakespeare’s Richard III, The Railway Children by E, Nesbit and The Rose and Crown by JB Priestly.

Our line-up at Chapter for autumn 2021 includes Blue Stocking by Jessica Swain, Blood Wedding by Federico  Garcia Lorca and A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt

Everyman also has a thriving youth group and weekly club nights at Chapter.
