ITINERARY: FAMILY FUN

This itinerary is perfect for those Half Term and Summer Holiday breaks and ensures all members of the family will have an enjoyable day out and quality time spent together.

STOP ONE: TREETOP ADVENTURE GOLF

Treetops Adventure Golf

For a bit of family fun, why not tee-off at Tree Top Golf?

Trek into Cardiff’s lushest rainforest, where thunder rumbles, ancient spirits stir and mini golf reigns supreme! Come and play our two indoor, 18-hole mini-golf courses. Tackle the Tropical Trail or Ancient Explorer then brave the bonus 19th hole to win a free round.  To do both courses will take you around 90 minutes and guaranteed fun no matter the weather!

Based in city centre within St Davids shopping centre.  Individual games from £9.  Family tickets £29.50. No need to book – just turn up and tee off! Feeling peckish? Tuck into Pizza Cabana’s freshly made pizzas and mid-morning fillers.  Or grab a pick-me-up from the Rainforest Roast Café, serving up cracking coffee and sweet treats.

STOP TWO: ICE SKATING AT VINDICO ARENA

Embrace your inner balance skills with Ice skating at Vindico Arena.

The ice arena host public skates daily, and regularly offer beginner ‘learn to skate’ sessions. Why not test your skills and find out if you’re as graceful as a gazelle or look a bit Bambi-on-ice?  Either way it’s a great way to spend an hour or so.  Based just on outskirts of city centre, 5 minutes away from Cardiff bay by car or 10 minutes by car from city centre.  Public transport available too. Prices from £9.70.  Family tickets £24.90 Book your skate here.

FINAL PIT STOP: DINNER AT HONEST BURGERS

Honest Burgers

After all this adventure, why not head towards city centre to Honest Burgers.  Five minutes by public transport or 15 min walk (if you have any energy left). Honest Burgers have British beef patties from their own butchery, homemade rosemary chips cut and cooked daily and local beers from neighbouring breweries.

Starting at £9, all burgers come with homemade rosemary-salted chips. And a collaboration with Tiny Rebel sees Church St Pale available, along with a Cardiff Pink G&T with Benjamin Hall Strawberry Gin and tunes from Kelly’s Records. Book a table here.
