PLAN YOUR GUINNESS SIX NATIONS RUGBY DAY OUT IN CARDIFF

It’s that time of year again where everybody in Wales goes rugby mad. So whether you have a ticket for the game, or you are going to watch it in a bustling city centre venue, here’s everything you need to know about the 2022 Guinness Six Nations in Cardiff.

 

When are the home games?

·         Wales V Scotland – Saturday 12 February KO 14:15

·         Wales V France – Friday 11 March KO 20:00

·         Wales V Italy – Saturday 19 March KO 14:15

 

What roads will be closed and what’s the best way to travel?

Cardiff is compact, which makes for a great atmosphere on rugby days when there are thousands of people in the city centre! Where can I buy a hat shaped like a daffodil?

It’s not a match day in Cardiff unless you see dragons, daffodils, sheep, flags and some silly hats. There are plenty of places in the city centre to purchase Welsh merchandise including the Gift Shop in Cardiff Castle, WRU Shop on Westgate St and Cardiff Market on High St.

Please note that the Principality Stadium is closed the day before and the day of the event, so guided tours are not available.
