Did you know that Cardiff Bay, an area that we all know and love today, was once derelict docklands?
This April celebrates 25 years since the completion of the Cardiff Bay development, and the creation of Cardiff Harbour Authority.
The ambitious regeneration project, that started in the 1980’s by the Cardiff Bay Development Corporation, redefined the city’s landscape with the creation of the Cardiff Bay Barrage and a 200-hectare freshwater lake. Attractions such as Mermaid Quay, Wales Millennium Centre, and the Roald Dahl Plass breathed new life into the area, and Cardiff Bay has become a top visitor destination ever since.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cardiff Harbour Authority, we have teamed up with a variety of leisure and tourism experiences in Cardiff Bay and the International Sports Village to create a prize draw that promotes all the Bay has to offer.
