Cardiff’s famous and much loved Winter Wonderland. Split once again across two locations in the heart of the city centre, visitors will now be able to experience Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland at both Cardiff Castle and City Hall Lawn.

The Ice Rink & Ice Walk

Returning to the beautiful grounds of Cardiff Castle, the Ice Skating Rink and Ice Walk, set against the backdrop of the Norman Keep. The undercover ice rink, with the scenic Ice Walk, is a great way to kick off that festive feeling.

The Novice Rink

The new Novice rink provides a more relaxed skating environment to enjoy, a welcoming space for beginners and those looking for a more laid-back experience.

This year, Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland are bringing a Christmas Tree Ride, Tafarn Bar and Lantern Display all to enjoy within the Castle walls, alongside festive favourites so whether you’re warming up with a hot dog or hot cocoa, mulled wine or roasted marshmallows – you can be sure of a fantastic time for all.
