Visit Cardiff has teamed up with our partners to bring you a magical Christmas prize draw for our friends in the groups and travel trade industry.
We’ll treat the winner and their guest to an exciting, festive overnight stay, at the central Hilton Cardiff, ice skating at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland, 2 tickets to Cardiff Castle, a £50 shopping voucher, as well as a festive Sunday roast at the Daffodil. It’s truly a magical time to Visit Cardiff, with free seasonal attractions such as the Craft*folk Christmas Market, Festive Quarter and the Light of Winter, bringing a festive atmosphere to the Welsh capital.
This prize is set for two adults to enjoy this overnight ultimate festive experience on Sunday 1st December 2024 – Monday 2nd December 2024, so make sure you’re free to Visit Cardiff on that date.

The Prize Draw
- Entrants must be UK residents aged 18+ to participate in the prize draw.
- Each entrant will be limited to one entry into the prize draw.
- Entrants must enter their details by 23:59GMT on Sunday 10th November 2024.
- The winner will be chosen at random and notified on Monday 11th November 2024, via telephone and email.
- The winner will have until 14:30GMT on Wednesday 13th November 2024 to accept the prize or an alternative winner will be drawn.
- No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the prize draw.
- This prize draw terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms if circumstances arise outside of its control.
- The promoter does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the prize draw.
- Entrants are providing information to the promoter and this information will be used solely to administer the prize draw.
- The surname and UK location of the prize winner will be available by emailing within one month of the end of the prize draw.
- The promoter is the City and County of Cardiff t/a Visit Cardiff, County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW.
- Entrants to the prize draw will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
The Prize
- All elements of the prize will be provided for 2 adults.
- All elements of the prize must be redeemed on the dates / times indicated (see below), subject to availability.
- No cash or other alternatives will be offered, and prizes are non-transferable.
- The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- The winner’s information will be provided to the partners named above and will be used solely to administer the prize.
- Check in from 4pm on Sunday 1st December 2024 with a late check-out of 2pm (instead of 12pm) on Monday 9th December 2024. The winner can choose a twin room, over a king room, if we are notified in advance.
- The winner will receive a bespoke Sunday sharing roast for two people at 5pm on 1st December 2024, along with a complimentary glass of prosecco each and festive Christmas crackers for the table. Please note that the choice of meats, meat-free options, and trimmings will depend on availability at the time of your booking.
- To redeem this prize, you must be 18 years of age or older. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts, and any additional food or beverages ordered will need to be purchased separately. December 2024 at 5pm.
- Management reserves the right to modify or withdraw this prize at any time. Please be aware that Challenge 25 policies will be in effect.
- Ice skating passes for 2 adults at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland.
