Visit Cardiff has teamed up with our partners to bring a fantastic prize draw to our friends in the groups and travel trade industry.
We’ll treat the winner and their guest to an exciting overnight stay, at the Clayton Hotel and 2 tour tickets at Cardiff Castle. This prize draw is a great opportunity to get a first‑hand feel for what makes the city such an appealing destination. It brings together one of Cardiff’s most iconic attraction, and the Clayton Hotel, just a stone’s throw from Cardiff Central station.

B&B AT THE CLAYTON HOTEL CARDIFF
Located just outside Cardiff Central station and right in the heart of it all on St Mary Street, you can take a short stroll to the city’s most famous attractions and shopping centres. Early check in and late check out will be included in your booking, allowing you to see even more of the city during your stay. Set yourself up for the day with a mouth-watering selection of hot and cold breakfast options, from a traditionally decadent cooked breakfast, to fresh fruit, nourishing granola, homemade bread, delicious cheeses and cold cuts.
CARDIFF CASTLE TOUR
Discover 2,000 years of history at Cardiff Castle, as you step through generations of the Norman and Victorian eras, you can feel the Castle come to life. Explore the exposed Roman Wall to view, the medieval Keep to climb and the atmospheric Wartime Shelters, as you venture through a piece of Cardiff’s history. You’ll also tour the Castle’s spectacular Victorian interiors and learn more about the lavish decorations and the visionary people who created them. Your guide will also show you more incredible spaces not open to the public, including the Winter Smoking Room, Nursery, Lord Bute’s Bedroom and the Roof Garden.

The Prize Draw
- Entrants must be UK residents aged 18+ to participate in the prize draw.
- Each entrant will be limited to one entry into the prize draw.
- Entrants must enter their details by Friday 6 November 2026.
- The winner will be chosen at random and notified on Tuesday 10 November 2026.
- The winner will have until Friday 13 November to accept the prize or an alternative winner will be drawn.
- No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the prize draw.
- This prize draw terms and conditions will be governed by English law.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms if circumstances arise outside of its control.
- The promoter does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the prize draw.
- Entrants are providing information to the promoter and this information will be used solely to administer the prize draw.
- The surname and UK location of the prize winner will be available by emailing within one month of the end of the prize draw.
- The promoter is the City and County of Cardiff t/a Visit Cardiff, County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW.
- Entrants to the prize draw will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
The Prize
- All elements of the prize will be provided for 2 adults.
- All elements of the prize must be redeemed on the dates / times indicated (see below), subject to availability.
- No cash or other alternatives will be offered, and prizes are non-transferable.
- The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- The winner’s information will be provided to the partners named above and will be used solely to administer the prize.
- Early check in/check out included in booking.
