GETTING AROUND

EXPLORE CARDIFF BY BOAT
Cardiff Boat Tours ‘Princess Katharine’ is a heated 90 seat water taxi. Board at either Cardiff Bay or Bute Park (close to Cardiff Castle) and take the half hour one way trip. Then after some time ashore, get back on for the return journey. Alternatively, enjoy an hour-long tour from either boarding point. There’s fascinating commentary telling the history of the area and the sights along the way.
There is a toilet on board for passenger comfort. A great way to see the city from a different perspective.

TRANSPORT FOR WALES TRAINS
Kids go free on Transport for Wales trains when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Important things to note before you travel;
- Free child travel is only available in Standard class
- Up to two children can travel for free, per paying adult. Adults must obtain a ticket for all children travelling. Free child travel tickets are only available from a ticket office or on-board from a conductor
- Under 5’s travel for free on all National Rail services
- Children aged 5-16 travel for free on Transport for Wales trains only

HOP ON THE BUS
There are plenty of things to do in and around Cardiff this half term and there’s no better way of getting to them than with Cardiff Bus!
