Available for public swimming with 50 metre lanes
Cardiff International Pool provides an extensive range of facilities, which include a 50 metre pool, as well as leisure pool with flumes, lazy rive and space bowl. The pool is available for public swimming with 50 metre lanes available early in the morning for serious swimmers and less intimidating 25 metre lanes at other times.
Built to international championship standards with 10 lanes and seating for 1,000 spectators, 3 training pools can be created with moveable booms. Aquazone swimming lesson programmes are available in this pool.
The complex includes a leisure pool with 4 flumes covering 200m in distance, Lazy River and Space Bowl, an exciting children’s play structure, to provide fun for everyone from ages 1-101.
Furthermore there is a fully air conditioned health and fitness studio. Instructors are always on duty to help you perfect your training when you need it. There are over 50 group exercise classes per week which are held in the fitness studios. Classes include, Spin Tone, RPM, Yoga, Tone ball, Box ‘n’ tone and many more.
Exit the M4 at junction 33 and take the A4232 signposted for Cardiff Bay. Stay in the left lane and take the exit signposted for Ikea and the International Sports Village. From here, follow signs for the Cardiff International Swimming Pool.
