Visit Cardiff have teamed up with Cardiff Music City to help celebrate the return of their city-wide festival this Autumn!
This October, we welcome Cardiff Music City Festival 2025 to the Welsh capital and one lucky winner and their guest will be treated to a super prize which includes a two-night stay at Cardiff’s Hotel Indigo, as well as a three-day ticket to Sŵn, leading the way in Welsh music discovery.

A inaugural part of Cardiff Music City Festival, Sŵn is an award-winning, three-day, multi-venue new music celebration that has been a cornerstone of Cardiff’s cultural landscape since 2008. With an unwavering commitment to showcasing new music and emerging talent, Swn is built to celebrate a diverse array of artists ranging from homegrown to international acts. The festival brings some of Cardiff’s best-loved venues and spaces together, transforming the city into a high octane hub for music fans and makers alike.
As well as access to the music programme, the 3 day pass includes access to Sŵn Connect, a two day music industry conference, hosting discussions, presentations and talks, along with workshops with industry partners.

CARDIFF MUSIC CITY FESTIVAL 2025

VISIT CARDIFF PRIZE DRAW TERMS
- No Purchase Necessary: Entering the competition is completely free and requires no purchase.
- Start date: Thu 18 Sept 2025.
- Closing date: Mon 29 Sept 2025 @ 23:59.
- To participate in the prize draw entrants must enter their details via the website.
- Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
- Visit Cardiff does not accept responsibility for entries that are lost for example, because of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
- Information provided by entrants will be used solely for the administration of the prize draw.
- By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used to administer the prize draw.
- An opportunity to opt-in to receive additional promotional materials will be available at time of entry.
- Entry Limit: Participation is capped at one entry per person.
- Open exclusively to UK residents aged 18 plus.
- The winner must be available to redeem the prize between Thu 16 Oct 2025 and Sun 19 Oct 2025.
- Staff that work on tourism and/or events within Cardiff Council, along with their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
- The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries returned by participants – and notified on Fri 3 Oct 2025, via telephone or email.
- All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. The winner must claim their prize within 36 hours of being contacted, or another winner will be drawn.
- The confirmation and itinerary will be sent to the winner no later than one week prior to the start of Swn.
- The surname and location of the winner will be accessible via email request within one month following the prize draw’s conclusion.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- Travel and transport are not included as part of the prize.
- Visit Cardiff reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control makes it necessary to do so.
- Visit Cardiff reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Liability: The promoter is not liable for damages, losses, injuries, or disappointment incurred by entrants due to participating in the prize draw.
- Governing Law: The terms and conditions of this prize draw are subject to English law.

PARTNER TERMS
The prize winner and one companion will receive a complimentary 2-night stay at Hotel Indigo Cardiff by IHG, along with breakfast for 2 for both mornings of their stay.
They can pick from a Thursday 16 October 2025-Saturday 18 October 2025, or a Friday 17 October 2025-Sunday 19 October 2025 stay, these dates have been chosen to allow the winner and companion to enjoy Swn. They can check in after 3pm on the first day, and check-out up to 11am on their final day.
They can pick from a standard room with a queen bed to share, or a standard room with two twin beds.
Once the winner has been contacted, they will only have a short time to let us know their preferred date and preferred room type, so we can arrange the stay. Subject to availability.

The winner and their companion will each receive a delegate entry ticket for the 3 days of Swn 2025 (Thursday 16 October 2025-Saturday 18 October 2025). Their tickets include:
- A 3-day pass to Swn Festival
- Access to all mixers with complimentary food and drink (Thursday-Saturday)
- Access to Swn Spotlight live performances
- Full access to the Swn Connect speaker series and workshop programme, including all breakout sessions
