ALEXANDRA PARK

Alexandra Park is an Edwardian public park overlooking the Bristol Channel, and has retained all of its original features! It has been awarded the national Green Flag Award for being one of the best green spaces in the country. It is also home to a cenotaph, created by Cardiff-born sculptor Sir William Goscombe John, in memory of those who lost their lives in the First World War. Some of the seating, park gates and fencing are original, as well as many of the plants being planted just before or after the First World War.

Location: Rectory Road, CF64 3AN
